Scope and Content
Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published March 13, 1974 with caption: "New Post Office - Aylmer's $275,875 new post office is starting to take shape but there is still a great deal of work to be done before the completion deadline of the end of April. Noel Decraemer, project foreman of Gilvesy Construction Company Ltd., Tillsonburg, is confident the building will be finished by the deadline. He said as long as there aren't any holdups on material, it looks like the work will be done. Presently the mill work inside is underway such as building cupboards, counters, screens and painting. Outside there is plastering going on and also landscape work will soon follow."
