Lantern belonged to donor's Father and was given to him by Don Moore when the shops closed. Although one line of railway lanterns, the Dietz Vesta used this type of design, the vast majority of tubular lanterns were manufactured for general domestic, farm and industrial purposes. This lantern in all probability was not used for railroad purposes.
