Chatham Miss United Way representative, Anne Marie Charbonneau, 17, judged the competition Wednesday. Mayor Carter had a slight edge as Chatham is leading in fund-raising with more than 31 per cent of its goal raised while St. Thomas has raised only slightly more than 13 per cent so far. A Chatham delegation visited St. Thomas to publicize the campaign."
