Photographs members of the St. Thomas Edna Rebekah Lodge, part of the Rebekah Assembly of Ontario, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, being decorated for chivalry. Caption from St. Thomas Times-Journal, 2_4340: "Decoration of Chivalry Conferred on Rebekahs: "The I.O.O.F. decoration of chivalry was conferred on six prominent ladies of the Rebekahs of St. Thomas and district, on Wednesday evening, at an impressive ceremony held in the Masonic Auditorium, with Dell Cole of Ridgetown, major-general of the Department of Ontario, Patriarch Militant Order of Oddfellows, officiating. He was assisted by a staff of officers representing various lodges in Western Ontario. The brilliant function was held under the auspices of Canton Victoria No. 5 of St. Thomas and was followed by luncheon and dancing. Some 150 attended the dinner and enjoyed the entertainment which followed. A focal point on the head table was the anniversary cake. The piece of equipment will be used to inflate patients lungs and to administer medication to those suffering respiratory ailments.
