Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published April 30, 1975 with caption: "IOOF Donation to Minor Ball - Before Tuesday night's regular meeting of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Aylmer Lodge No 94, Noble Grand Douglas Benner, left, presented Aylmer Minor Baseball Association President Don Campbell with a cheque for $100. Looking on is Vice Grand Ed Bedard. The Odd Fellows made a similar donation to the Aylmer Minor Hockey Association a few months ago. Mr. Campbell said the money will be used for the purchase of equipment for the hard and soft ball seasons which will officially start May 15. Mr. Campbell siad approximately 250 boys will participate in this season's play."

From left are John Magee, recording secretary of the Lodge; Roy Miners, chairman of the fund-raising committee; Bob Reynaert, president of the Aylmer Minor Hockey Association; and Ed Bedard, vice-grand of the Lodge. Mr. Magee said the IOOF hopes to plan a similar donation in the summer to minor baseball."

At the meeting the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs donated a cheque totalling $1,200 towards Terrace Lodge, Aylmer's new home for the aged.
