Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times-Journal article published May 10, 1954 with caption: " Chin-wagging and recollections of good times had together, were weekend pastimes of members of the 91st Batalion who went overseas and fought side by side in the front lines of World War One as they met in reunion at St. Thomas. And not to be outdone by the youngsters, these "oldsters" got to a corner by themselves for a little repartee. A total of 601 years is represented in their age. From left to right, front row are: G.H. Picknell, 87, of Westminster Hospital, oldest comrade attending; Roy Palmerston, 74, of St. Thomas; M.J. Hanley, 77, of Detroit; and John Ward, 77, of West Lorne; back row: W.J. Wakeling, 75, of Aylmer, who couldn't forget he was a sergeant-major; Harry Brooker, of Saginaw, Mich., youngster of the group at 66, came from the farthest distance to attend; John Luckhurst, 73, of St. Thomas; and L.A. "Shorty" Campbell, 76, Orangeville."
