Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas-Times Journal article published in the 1981 Centennial Edition, June 27, 1981, p. 12B with caption: "In Camp - Probably one of the earliest photographs of the founding companies of what is now known as the Elgin Regiment is this one taken almost 100 years ago of the 25th Regiment in camp in the flats below the west end of Talbot Street. Note the soldiers drilling in parade formation to the left. Also note that the landscape has changed very little over the years."
