Two black and white photographs showing the big log purchased by Omer Chalk of Aylmer to send to England for ship building. The dimensions of the log were 51 feet long, 53 inches in diameter at the butt and 40 inches at the small end, and had an estimated weight of more than 20 tons. It went by train to the east coast and then by ship to England. 90a shows the log loaded on the a truck of Edward Gibbons of Springfield 90b shows Omer Chalk against the log. Included in the Lyons Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History.

One black and white photograph of Dr. Helen and Wallace MacIntyre. Dr. MacIntyre, daughter of Dr. Warren Doan, graduated in medicine from the University of Western Ontario in 1933. She interened at Women's College Hospital, Toronto and Woman's Hospital, Philadelphia, returnnig to her home in Harrietsville to practice in 1937. Except for her service in the Royal Canadian Medical Corps 1942-1945, when she was stationed in Kitchener, Halifax and Vancouver. She served the community, including South Dorchester area until 1952. From 1952-1967 she was associated with the Elgin-St. Thomas Health Unit. Included in the Lyons Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History.

Black and white photograph used in St. Thomas Times Journal article published May 10, 1976 with caption, "Mom's the Word - Mrs. Marilyn Sanders, 11 Edgeware Road, is the proud mother who received a bouquet of roses from her son, John, on Mother's Day. John is Times-Journal carrier and the roses were won by him in a special Mother's Day contest run during the last two weeks by the T.-J. Circulation Department. All of the carriers were presented with bouquets of flowers (to give to mom) as winners in the contest."

On the middle right, can be seen Rest Haven Nursing Home, a more recent addition to the city landscape. A round grassy area sets it out from the nearby trees."

Copy of an article published in the St. Thomas Times-Journal, September 22, 1962 concerning James H. Still and his career as a St. Thomas merchant, business man and civic builder, 1870s-1910s. He successively operated a boot and shoe store on Talbot Street, a handle factory on the southwest corner of Wellington and Railway Streets (now Princess Avenue) and a large lumber mill and factory on the old St. Thomas fairgrounds on Elm Street. As a civic builder/investor he was in part responsible for the expansion of the St. Thomas Street Railway (1898-1899) and for the establishment of Pinafore Park.
