Beige booklet, cover reads: "St. Thomas Hockey Banquet. March 22, 1938. Masonic Auditorium. Guest Speakers: Lionel Conacher, Mayor E. Duckworth, Dr. R. Conner. Entertainment: Pianist - Danny Clibborn, Accordianist - Austin Ryland. Teams Represented: Argonauts, We-ne-ju, Alphas, St. Andrews, St. Lukes, Trinity, Catholic Youth Organization, Baraca, Knox, Yarmouth Centre. Ray Whittaker, Chairman. Gus McNea, Treasurer." The inside contains several poems and songs and the back has a space for autographs. A note on the gift form reads, "Belonged to Charles Ross, son of Hannah and Charles Sr., residents of St. Thomas, donor's grandfather." From a letter from Helen Ross, the wife of Charles, which was included with the donation: "Charles played hockey not only in the Church league but also in the district Industrial league."
