Scope and Content
Four colour photographs concerning the grave of Orville Albert Long (service number A116352), a Second World War soldier, included in the Clachan Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History, Volume Six, page 21. Trooper Long was born in 1921 to Garnet H. and Annie Mae (Purcell) Long in Wardsville. He was a member of 14th Canadian Hussars, R.C.A.C., and was killed in action on August 27, 1944. He is buried at Bretteville-Sur-Laize Canadian War Cemetery in Calvados, France:

Janes, copied from an unknown publication -Transcript of a speech that was read at Joseph Janes' gravesite on June 19, 2010. -Wedding photograph of Dr. Joseph Janes and Helen V. Johnson, married December 3, 1945. -Passport issued to Dr. Joseph Janes in 1941.
