Autograph book collected and maintained by Mrs. Mary Crothers, with enclosed correspondence and other documents relating to the political career of her husband, Thomas Wilson Crothers, who served as MP, Elgin West, 1908-1921; Minister of Labour, 1911-1918; and Senator (1921). Includes original signed correspondence from Sir John A. Macdonald (Prime Minister of Canada, 1867-1873, 1878-1891), Sir Robert L. Borden (Prime Minister of Canada, 1911-1920) and Sam Hughes (Minister of Militia and Defence, 1911-1916).

Includes brochures, posters, postcards, newspaper clippings, election notice cards and items such as matchboxes and calendars branded with candidates. This file also contains an Assignment of Mortgage Indenture between The Honorable Sir William Mulock & Lady Sarah Ellen Cawthra Mulock and William Mulock, the Younger regarding Lot 12, Concession 5 in the Township of Townsend, County of Norfolk. Also includes a greeting card signed by Lester B. Pearson in celebration of a Golden Anniversary.
