When an opportunity arose for her to teach, and having attended London Normal School prior to being married, she took two summer courses at Orillia, and returned to Cedar Spring's Hospital to teach two years. Then, she accepted a similar position at the Quad County School for the retarded at Pratt Siding, where she remained five years."
