Right after his visit to the hospital, Santa had to rush over to a parade in St. Thomas held in his honor". (2a)

"Well Bundled - This troupe had excellent seats, the steps of Holy Angels' Church, and used a warm blanket for a little added warmth". (2c)
"Left...Left... The St. Thomas Opt-Mrs. Majorettes keep time during Saturday's two mile Santa Claus Parade". (2d)
"Tearful Encounter - It was momentary tears as four-year-old Jeanette Dowler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rob Dowler of St. Thomas, met Captain Crook, one of the McDonaldland characters in the parade Saturday". (2e)
"And the Band Played On - All three high school bands added colour and excitement to the Santa Claus parade on Saturday, however the trophy for the best band went to Parkside Collegiate pictured here". (2f) View is looking west along the north side of Talbot Street between Mary and Hiawatha Streets. F.W. Woolworth store, Ear Ring Tree, Reuben's Men's and Boy's Store are visible.
