History / Biographical
The house at west half, lot 13, Concession 8, Township of Yarmouth was built ca. 1850 by the Caughell family. The farm was purchaed by Harry Norman and Alice Adelia Marlatt Norman in 1906 from Mary Caughell. In 1926 the farm was purchased by Ralph Leslie Norman and his wife Maybell Tansley Norman. Ralph and Maybelle were the parents of Harry Arthur, Robert Leonard and James Howard. Robert Leonard inherited the farm upon his father's death in 1959.
