Two colour photographs of members of the Kingsmill-Mapleton W.I. at a donor reception entitled "Years in the Making, hosted by the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation, held June 19, 1996, included in the Kingsmill-Mapleton Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History, Volume Five, page 248. The Kingsmill-Mapleton W.I. was honoured for their donation of a wheel chair on February 14, 1951, in honour of five young men who died in the Second World War:

Two colour photographs of Pat Palmer, left and Dorothy McLaughlin at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital dedication of the Shedden W.I.'s plaque on June 19, 1996, included in the Shedden Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History, Volume Three, page 387. The plaque was moved from a door in the old Memorial Hospital to a special area in the current hospital.
