The train was the new rail liner, termed a 'railway automobile', and it was making its initial trip from London to Toronto. Mrs. Feindel was its first woman passenger. "Like New - The interior of [London and Port Stanley Railway] motor car number 8 has been restored to excellent condition. The motor car, which the L. & P.S. operated until the end of passenger service in 1957, is the only L. & P.S. car still running." (C8 Sh3 B1 F2 10b)
