Black and white photograph showing Cpl. Lorne W. Beer, killed in a training accident in the Second World War. Notes included in the Shedden Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History Book, Volume 1: "Cpl. Lorne W. Beer, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Beer, was born at Radville, Saskatchewan in 1912. He was an instructor in Mechanics in No. 10 Infantry Division at Camp Borden. He died on September 4, 1943, of injuries received in a motorcycle accident while in training at Camp Borden."
