"London & Port Stanley Railway excursion train, Feb. 17, 1957", ca. 1985. On the back of the postcard, it states: "It's Feb. 17, 1957, as passengers on a special London & Port Stanley excursion train stop to inspect the small shelter at Yarmouth (Stop 14) north of St. Thomas. The shelter was known as a flagstop, with passengers raising the pole-mounted "flag" to signal approaching trains. It is still possible to travel over a portion of the L&PS, on the diesel-powered excursion trains of Port Stanley Terminal Rail. Port Stanley is located on Lake Erie, about 50 kn. south of London".
